Rain Water Floods Pensions Chairman's House In Akim Oda

The first rainfall this year 2020 took residents of Akim Oda by surprise last Tuesday 14th January.

The sudden rain which came amidst rainstorms and thunder started late night the previous day and came to very slow end by 10 am in the following morning.

A compound house which was built along the Birimu Street in Akim Oda by the mother of Chairman Ntow, Chairman of Ghana Pensioneers Association , was flooded by the running water from a badly escavated drainage by the Birim Central Municipal Assembly.

Chairman Ntow used our media platform to solicit the immediate attention of NADMO and the Assembly to treat this situation as an emergency.

Akim Oda PPP Office Ceased In Election Year

Information reaching Red Paper Online from the Akim Oda constituency has indicated that the branch office for the Progressive Peoples Party has been locked for the past four years.

According to some party executives in the constituency, the lock up was due to rent arrears that has piled up after the 2016 elections.

Ansa Sasraku a communications officer for the party revealed that, it is not wholely true that debt has ceased the party office from operations. Yet talks around the Oda new town has carried the rumors far especially at this time when the PPP has opened nominations for national, regional and constituency executive primaries.

Concerns have been raised as to whether the party will be adequately resourced to face this years elections.

On Ghanaianpost.com it was recently reported that Baa Abora, the possible parliamentary candidate for the party who pulled over 6,000 votes for the party has declared his interest in contesting the seat this year.

As nomination forms for party positions was opened yesterday, it not clear as to whether Baa Abora will make it to the ballot paper due to the existing conflict in the party at the constituency level.

Eyes are wide opened in monitoring the events as they unfold in Akim Oda as the PPP is remains the second choice for the electorates.

Kidi And Abena Bribed Judges To Win Hitmaker - Gunshot

The Season 4 Mtn Hitmaker dancehall champion has recently throw shades on the Hitmaker institution as well as some of his fellow contestants.

Abraham Nii Atokwei known to many by his stage mame Super Gunshot, yesterday descended heavily on Mtn Hitmaker calling the reality show a pure fraud.

On his facebook page, Gunshot told his fans that Mtn Hitmekr is fake and has no reward for talents. In an interview, he told our reporters that Kidi and Abena paid bribes to judges for the first and second place.

"I deserved the overall winner for the competition, even the Musiga President was dancing to my misic, and my fans were 99 percent of the audience" he disclosed.

According to Gunshot, Mtn is fraudulent with Hitmaker show, he disclosed that his fans spent money to buy Mtn sim cards and credit to vote massively for him, his talent one was not rewarded.

"They made a lot of money from Hitmaker, but they don't do anything for the artists" he said.

Gunshot has promised his fans that he will soon release more secrets about the Hitmaker reality show.
