Some fans of the maddest man in the Ghana music industry have been expecting a tight lyrical vengeance on Ghana police after his release from Kumasi central prisons.
Kwaw Kesse was arrested at Kumasi for allegedly smoking a substance which was confirmed to be Indian hemp at the Plus Two pub at Ahodwo. The arrest led to a mild protest from some musicians and fans who believed that justice was not being well served in the country. In the light of eventful analysis, some Ghanaians were wroth at the fact that the law against illicit drugs was impracticable in a prior circumstance where Chris Brown smoked similar weed on stage at the Accra sports stadium in front of about 5000 people, and telecasted live on T.V stations across the country.
During his days in custody, the hip pop star relayed a message to his fans begging them to halt all forms of violence against the authorities, and also advised his fans to refrain from making any hash statements about the police in order to ensure his safe return from jail. Much has been expected from Kwaw after he won this battle against the monstrous underdogs who were believed to be behind the arrest and defamation of his reputation. And like Yaa Pono who released a single "Free Kwaw" , in which he addressed the issue of partial justice, it is expected that Kwaw Kesse will soon drop a dope tune that will contain his experience at the Kumasi prison and also a reply to his law enforcement friends.
