PAPPY KOJO`S "REALER NO" HITS NO. 9 ON GOLDEN CHATSHOW

From the western port side, Pappy Kojo an underground rapper has become the new hotcake in the Ghana music industry after many years of hustle in the game. Pappy almost gave up his music ambitions when he left Ghana for Italy to live with his parents, until he was invited by his friend Joey B to return to Ghana. The Takoradi rapper had recorded many underground songs before his collaboration with Joey B, and had plans of becoming "Tadi`s illest" Emcee even in his younger days. According to him, he really wanted to give up his music career and settle with his parents in Italy, until his friend Joey B invited him to return to the heart of Africa- Ghana. In a phone interview on the O.Fm Bosoe entertainment show last Saturday, Pappy Kojo told listeners how he admired the late Micheal Jackson as a little child, and the inspiration he received from listening to his songs. Takoradi is very well known for raising many stars who have made a great impact in the Ghana music industry, and Pappy is likely the new rapper to take Fante rap to the next level. "I owe everything to Joey B, and I am happy to be back in the game", Pappy told listeners of O.Fm. When the presenter Gyatabuom Gyata asked the young rapper about his song "Realer no" being no.9 on the golden chat show, Pappy said he was glad that from nowhere he was making an impact at this early stage. He agreed that the song has a future, and hoped that it will keep climbing on subsequent chat shows. He thanked his fans for the support and all the love, and especially thanked Joey B for putting him on his song "Wave" in which Pappy did a very tight flow. Many callers on the Bosoe entertainment show on O.Fm expressed their desire to see Joey B and Pappy in Obuasi soon, as many have watched the dope "Realer no" video on youtube. The Fante rapper is now viewed as the best rapper to emerge from the west coast after the decline of TH4 Kwages group who had also been his mentor in the golden age of hiplife music. Pappy who left Takoradi at age 16 to settle in Italy is now back and fully in the game. Much is expected of him at this point where fante rappers like Kofi Kinata and Teephlow are in his line of competition, and lovers of his dope lyrics and style of rap are already confident in his abilities, hoping he comes through as the best Fante rapper ever.
