Asante Clickwise Recounts How He Was Recognized By South African Tourism Board

The astute freelance journalist and blogger Nana Asante Clickwise has disclosed how he became recognized by the South African Tourism Board for his role in the Indaba 2016 tourism expo.

In an interview with a Ghanaian based private website Bizzy Trends, Asante Clickwise heavily commended Dr. Gilbert Aggrey also known as Abeiku Santana for his mentorship and education in this endeavor.

Indaba 2016 was a world travel expo held in Durban South Africa which was attended by over 14,000 media and tourism industry players across the world.

Notable among the attendees from Ghana were Abeiku Santana, Ameyaw Debrah, Monte Oz Africa, and Kodwo Bentil of Travel Afrique.

"Even though I couldn't attend the event, I was recognized by the board as one of the top six netizens who helped to promote the event online" he stated.

Upon his return from the expo, Dr. Abeiku Santana donated all the items and plaque he received from the event to Asante Clickwise at a media forum held at La Villa Hotel in Osu where Clickwise was outdoored and commended for his unrelenting support.

The then Minister for tourism in South Africa, Jacinta Nzioka, took to Twitter and applauded the blogger for his massive support for the expo.

Asante went ahead to entreat all bloggers and promoters to stay focused and purposeful in all their endeavors because someone might be watching, and your reward may be just around the corner.

Asante Clickwise has since been an underdog in the media space which due to health and family issues over the past 6 years.

Many who have contacted him have disclosed that the blogger prefers to slow down his pace and focus on other personal things before he bounced back in full scale .
